In Memory of Chief Clarence Jules Sr 1926-2015

The First Nations Tax Administrators Association has lost a dear friend.  Chief Clarence Jules Sr of the Tk'emlups te Secwepemc passed away on September 10, 2015.

Chief Clarence Jules Sr was instrumental in his advocacy for First Nation property tax jurisdiction leading to the Kamloops Amendment of the Indian Act in 1988.   

In 2009, Chief Jules Sr was recognized by the First Nations Tax Administrators Association for his contribution to the field.  He will be missed by many.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jules Family.
